Xu Lai, who once dreamed of becoming a painter, is a middle-aged man who has abandoned his dreams. When he goes on a trip to Hong Kong with his wife and her family, he plans to meet up with his college sweetheart. But his brother-in-law, Lala, happens to figure out Xu’s bad intention. The two start a chase-and-run journey in Hong Kong. The quest to go on a date turns into a thrilling adventure fraught with peril.
