Beijing Film Asia is active in producing and distributing quality movies and TV dramas. The company was launched in 2005 as a film production and distribution company. It underwent a comprehensive expansion and now operates film studio, TV production company and movie theaters. The company has over 10 directors and screenwriters on board, and a nationwide distribution team with over 200 staff. Beijing Film Asia has produced and distributed over 100 movie and TV projects. The films and TV dramas which are presented by Beijing FIlm Asia, such as Through Stunning Storms, My Garden of Eden, The Story of Zhou Enlai,Battle of Xiangjiang River, New Happy Dad and Son 2,Ne Yongzhen, and My Uncle Zhou Enlai, Sky Ladder: The Art of Cai Guo-qiang, have won several awards from the state, including “Five Ones” Project Awards, China Huabiao Film Awards, The Golden Rooster and the Hundred Flowers Awards, China TV Drama Flying Apsaras Awards, China Golden Eagle TV Art Awards, The Chinese American Film Festival Golden Angel Awards, and Sundance Film Festival Awards. Now the company has established a subsidiary company in Los Angeles for the purpose of exploring overseas market.
