The TV Opera Committee is a secondary branch under China TV Artists Association. It aims to promote the exchange of experiences, business discussions and training of TV opera. It is also responsible for recognizing units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the industry in an attempt to boost the healthy development and prosperity of the TV opera. It also utilizes the powerful media of television and Internet to promulgate and popularize the local opera culture through various forms of liaison, coordination, service and protection of property rights.
